THE PROBLEM

Bisphenols

Also called BPAs or BPSs, have been used to make certain plastics and resins since the 1950s. They ar eoften found in canned foods, plastic baby bottles, plastic food storage containers and plastic tableware

Phthalates

Phthalates are chemicals that are used to make plastic more flexible and to help fragrances last longer. They are often found in food packaging, plastic wrap and personal care products.

Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS)

PFAS are chemicals used to help products resist oil, grease, water and heat. They can be referred to as forever chemicals and common in non-stick cookware, food packaging and water-resistent items.

Toxic free, durable and tantrum proof

We parents give children plastic products because they are seen as durable and easy to maintain. But, plastic is NOT as durable as stainless steel. Plastic plates over time will leach chemicals and micro plastics through small cuts and excessive exposure to heat. Stainless steel doesn't have this problem. Kids can also throw these around and they will not break.
